I’m such a huge fan of doing this. ALWAYS do your due diligence - do your research, know who it is you’re addressing, know what they’re about, know their background. Especially in terms of a professional setting, in whatever industry or field you’re in… it’ll always pay off.

& who knows, maybe you’ll even come across some blackmail-worthy stuff via social media sites that you can whip out whenever you deem appropriate. LOL.
